Terms of Service

Agreement
By using Fluency Calibration, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the product. Simple as that.
What the service does
Fluency Calibration is an AI-powered professional English calibration tool. It matches phrases to your professional context, generates practice scenarios, and evaluates your responses. The AI isn't perfect — treat its feedback as a starting point, not a verdict.
Your account
You sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, or passwordless email link. You're responsible for your account security. One account per person — don't share credentials or create multiple accounts.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Abuse AI endpoints — no automated scraping, no bulk requests, no using the API outside the app.
- Submit harmful, illegal, or abusive content through the practice simulator.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or AI prompts.
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls.
Intellectual property
- Fluency Calibration, its design, and the phrase library are ours. Your practice responses are yours.
- We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the service. You grant us permission to process your inputs through our AI providers to deliver the service.
Disclaimers
- AI-generated content may contain errors. The practice simulator evaluates tone and pragmatics — it doesn't guarantee real-world outcomes.
- We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, provider outages, and force majeure happen.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law.
Changes to these terms
